This is post for resetting lock counter of Huawei New Algo based 3G USB Modems.
Stepsof resetting locked or remaining 0 attempt counter
- Insert Modem. Install Dashboard & Drivers.
- Now change USB Port of Modem. so os will install the necessary drivers.
- Now Open Task Manager. Click Processes Tab.
- Find "HWDeviceService.exe". Right Click on it and Click "End Process Tree".
- Now Open any AT-Command Sender.
use D-C unlocker - The AT-Command for NEW ALGO Counter Reset is AT^CARDUNLOCK=" NEW ALGO NCK HASH "
see here - If get error like "Error 42 or 40" then your modem is permanently locked so no counter reset possible.
How to get NEW ALGO NCK HASH
- As on Update of Huawei API. I am providing Hash with Code Calculator.
- OR You need new algo unlock code for generating hash.
